Team roles and permissions
Invite people to help run your events. Each role can do a different set of things, from full access to check-in only.
The four roles
Owner — full access, including deleting the organizer and handing off ownership. An organizer has exactly one owner.
Manager — create, edit and publish events, review payment proofs and issue refunds, and invite or remove teammates.
Door staff — check-in scanner only.
Analyst — read-only access to analytics and orders.
Invite a teammate
Open Team in the organizer console. Under Invite a teammate, enter their email address and choose a role — Owner isn’t one of the choices, since an organizer only ever has one. Select Send invite.
They accept the email signed in with that same address, and can’t accept if they already belong to another organizer. The invitation expires after 7 days; send a new one if it lapses.
Change or remove access
An Owner or Manager can change anyone else’s role from the dropdown next to their name, or select Remove to take away their access. You can’t remove yourself or the owner this way. A pending invitation can be revoked the same way, from Pending invitations.
Leaving or transferring ownership
The owner can hand ownership to someone already on the team; they become the new owner and the previous owner drops to Manager rather than losing access. Anyone who isn’t the owner can leave a team, but the owner has to transfer ownership first, since an organizer can’t be left without one. Neither is self-serve in the console yet — email hello@khevents.app and we’ll make the change.
