Setting up ticket types
Ticket types live in a reusable library, then get attached to each event with their own price and quantity.
A reusable library
Ticket types live in a library under Ticket Types in the organizer console, separate from any one event. Build a tier once — General admission, VIP, and so on — then attach it to as many events as you like. Attaching a ticket type to an event sets that event’s own price, quantity and sale dates without changing the template; editing the name or description on the template updates it everywhere it’s used.
Add up to 20 ticket types to an event.
Price, currency and quantity
Set a price and a currency, USD by default. Once a ticket type has sold at least one ticket, its currency is locked. Leave Quantity blank for no limit, or set a cap up to 1,000,000.
Turn sales on or off
Deactivate a ticket type on an event to stop it selling without deleting it — it stays in your library and on the event, ready to reactivate. This only affects that event; the same ticket type stays active anywhere else it’s attached.
Free events
Set a ticket type’s price to 0, or turn on Free ticket, and attendees claim it without paying. Free ticket types don’t need a bank account, unlike paid ones.
