Claiming an event Khevents listed for you

Why an event says “Listed by Khevents”

Khevents posts some events for hosts who don’t have an account yet, so people can still find them. Those pages say Listed by Khevents under the event’s host, and the About Khevents button goes to the Khevents profile rather than an organizer’s own page.

If the event is yours, you can ask for it. Nothing is lost in the move: tickets already issued stay valid, and attendees, sales, sessions, media and settings come with it.

Before you can claim

You need an account with a verified email, and your own organizer. If you don’t have one, the Is this your event? button on the event page takes you to the organizer signup form.

Only the owner of an organizer can send a claim. Other members can open the page, but they’ll be asked to have the owner send it.

Only events that Khevents has published can be claimed, one claim at a time per event. You can send up to 5 claims a day.

Send the claim

Open Ownership claims in the organizer console, under Account in the sidebar. If you’re signed in and own an organizer, the event page also shows a Request ownership button that opens the same page with the event already picked.

Under Find your event, search by title and select your event. Events already being claimed are marked Claim already under review.

Then fill in Request transfer:

How are you connected? — required, at least 20 characters. Include your role, your official event account, or contact details Khevents can check.

Public evidence link — optional, but it speeds things up. Your official website or a social post announcing the event works well.

Select Send ownership request. You’ll see “Transfer request sent. Khevents will review your evidence.”

While it’s being reviewed

The event page shows Request under review in place of the button, and your claim appears under Request history with a Pending review tag.

Requests are reviewed by the Khevents team, and there’s no way to cancel one yourself. Write to us if you sent a claim by mistake.

When it’s decided

You’ll get an email and a notification in the app either way, and the decision appears in Request history. Any message from the reviewer shows there as a Khevents note.

If it’s approved, the event moves to your organizer straight away and the Listed by Khevents wording disappears from the page. It’s now in your event list, with its attendees, tickets and settings, and you can edit it like any event you created.

If it’s not approved, the note explains why. Events aren’t changed by a rejected claim, and you can send a new request with better evidence.
