Taking registrations on another site

Already using Google Forms or another ticket site? Add up to 3 registration links and your event page shows them in place of tickets.

Create a new event, or open an event in the event manager and select Edit. On the Basics step, turn off Collect registrations. The Registration elsewhere section appears.

Select Add a registration link, then fill in:

Button label — the text on the button, up to 40 characters. Leave it blank to use Register.

Link — the full address, starting with https://

Add up to 3 links, for example one per language or one per ticket site. The first link is shown as the main button. Save or publish the event when you’re done.

To keep attendees safe, the link must be an ordinary web address with a domain name, such as https://forms.gle/… KHEvents refuses addresses that:

Don’t start with https:// or http://

Use an IP address, localhost or a local network name instead of a domain

Include a username or password before the domain

Contain spaces

If a link is refused, the builder shows the problem next to that link.

What attendees see

Your event page shows a Register with the organizer panel where the ticket panel would be. Each button shows its label and the site it goes to, and opens in a new tab. On phones, the main button also stays at the bottom of the screen.

The links appear once the event has a date, and disappear after the last session ends.

KHEvents doesn’t see registrations made on another site. Those attendees won’t appear in Attendees, get a KHEvents ticket or be checked in with the KHEvents app.

Switching back to KHEvents registration

An event shows either KHEvents tickets or your registration links, never both.

To take registrations on KHEvents again, go to the Settings tab in the event manager and turn on Registration open, or turn on Collect registrations in the builder. Your links are hidden, not deleted. Turn registration off again and they come back.

While links are saved, Settings shows how many there are, with an Edit links shortcut to the builder.
