How do I transfer a ticket to someone else?

Send a ticket to someone by email. They get a new QR code when they accept, and your copy stops working at that moment.

Send the invitation

Open the ticket and choose Transfer. Enter the new attendee name and email, then select Send invitation. They receive an email titled “A ticket for [event] was sent to you” with a Review ticket transfer button.

Your QR works until they accept

Nothing changes until they select Accept ticket. The ticket then becomes theirs with a fresh QR code, your copy stops working, and we email you that the transfer is complete. Changed your mind before they accept? Use Cancel invitation on the ticket page.

Invitations expire

An invitation lasts 48 hours, or until transfers close for the event if that comes sooner. After that, send a new one.

Rules the organizer sets

Each organizer decides whether their event allows transfers. By default, transfers close 2 hours before the event starts and a ticket can change hands up to 3 times, but organizers can change both. Tickets that have already been checked in can’t be transferred.

Payment between you

Transfers are free. KHEvents doesn’t handle payment between you and the person you send a ticket to, and there is no resale marketplace.
