Selling tickets at the door
Record a walk-in sale for cash, card, bank transfer or free, or reserve seats now and take payment when the buyer settles up.
Turn on manual sales
Manual sale is off by default. In the event manager, open the Settings tab and turn on Manual sales. If it says Unavailable until manual-sales access is enabled for this organizer, email hello@khevents.app to ask for access.
Record a sale
Open Manual sale for the event. Pick the session, then add tickets by quantity, or pick seats on the map if the session uses assigned seating. Enter the buyer’s name — email and phone are optional, and a ticket is emailed automatically if you add one.
Payment methods
Choose how the buyer paid: Cash, Card, Bank transfer or Complimentary. A complimentary sale costs nothing and completes immediately — there’s nothing to reserve.
Reserve instead of taking payment
Turn on Reserve — pay later to hold the tickets or seats without collecting money yet. Set how many hours to hold them for, up to the maximum shown. If the buyer never pays, the hold expires and the tickets go back on sale by themselves.
To settle a reservation, open the order and select Record payment. Choose how they paid and add a reference if you have one, such as a transfer or receipt number. Select Extend to add more hours before it expires, or Release seats to cancel the reservation and put the tickets back on sale immediately.
Resending a ticket
If a buyer needs their ticket again, open the order and select Resend ticket. It’s emailed to the address on the order — an order with no email on file can’t be resent. For a walk-in with no email, use Print receipt on the Manual sale screen right after the sale instead.
Who can sell at the door
Owners and Managers can do everything on this page. Door staff can record a manual sale for events they created, but settling, extending or releasing a reservation, and resending a ticket, are Owner and Manager actions. An Analyst is read-only and can’t use Manual sale.
