Checking in attendees at the door
Scan each ticket once, or type the ticket number if the camera can’t read it. A second scan is turned away and says when it was first used.
Open the scanner
In the organizer console, open Check-in and pick the event to open its gate scanner. Select Start scanning to turn on the camera and point it at the attendee’s QR code. Each ticket checks in the moment it scans — there’s no confirm step.
Can’t scan it?
If the code won’t read or someone can’t show a screen, select Manual entry, type the ticket number or token from their ticket, and select Check in.
Already checked in
Each QR code admits one person, once. Scanning it again is refused, and the screen shows Ticket already checked in, with how long ago. There’s no way to undo a check-in from the scanner.
More than one date
If the event has more than one date, a Gate session picker appears above the scanner. Choose the date this door is running — a ticket sold for another date is turned away, and the counts on screen only cover the date selected.
Require Khmer ID at the gate
If you turned on Require Khmer ID at the gate in the event’s Settings step, the scanner reminds staff to check each attendee’s Khmer ID before letting them in, and repeats the reminder after every successful scan.
Working with weak signal
The scanner downloads the session’s ticket list while it has a connection, and checks scans against it if a request to the server doesn’t come back quickly. An amber strip appears whenever this is happening — it shows how many tickets were downloaded, and how many accepted scans are still waiting to sync back to the server once the connection returns.
Open the Check-in page while you still have signal, so the ticket list downloads before you lose it. If you reload the page with no signal, it can’t load the page at all, so avoid reloading once you’re offline.
Who can check in
Anyone on the organizer’s team can check in attendees except an Analyst, which is read-only. Owner, Manager and Door staff can all open Check-in and scan.
